When a dream comes true: For many years I have wished to live in California even if only for a few months (especially if they were fall and winter months). From September 2012 until December 2012, I was lucky enough to live in Berkeley, CA, whilst avoiding some nasty weather back home. Although I was not set up to paint while on our hiatus, my creativity was pushed outside its comfort zone when I challenged myself to write a blog, something that I had forcefully refused whenever it was suggested previously. What did happen was that I totally enjoyed blogging and especially found my point and shoot camera to be quite an acceptable companion. Here are some of the shots from that trip.
